Our commitment as a Leader in Diversity

NOCN is proud to be the very first Awarding Organisation and Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation to be given a Leader in Diversity award by the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD), a leader in promoting equality for all in the UK. Equality, diversity and inclusion are not just important to our Board, staff and management; it is essential to the way we work with our centres and learners.

NOCN works hard to ensure that learners from all parts of society have the opportunity to improve their lives and careers through learning with NOCN's educational services.

NOCN has core values as part of its Charitable Objectives which encompass the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion, putting this at the heart of its activities.

Being a responsible charity and inclusive employer is the right thing to do and it is good for business - it provides NOCN with a competitive advantage with which it wins work as it connects with many company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda.

We encourage other organisations to also do the right thing for society and their business - get in touch with NCFD to know more about becoming a Leader in Diversity.

NOCN's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy is called Valuing All and is available to read here.
