Samaritans Workplace Training
Samaritans have been training staff in the UK and ROI for over 10 years, what distinguishes Samaritans workplace training from other training programmes is the insight that comes from 60 years of listening skills and responding to emotional distress. Many people in customer-facing roles in industry and commerce have to deal every day with emotionally challenging situations; this can easily impact on their own emotional health in harmful ways.
Samaritans' communication-skills training courses help people to identify ways to assist them with handling challenging contacts and at the same time they impart valuable skills and techniques for building and maintaining emotional resilience as individuals and as teams. They also offer training for Supervisors and Managers in demanding roles. Please read the Samaritans Workplace Training Directory . For further details on their courses please see their website www.samaritans.org.uk/workplace-training
