NOCN team enjoys night at the NCFD Grand Awards 2018
On Thursday the 18th of January, members of the NOCN team attended the 2018 National Centre for Diversity Grand Awards in London a night for supporters, partners and sponsors to join together in celebration of a joint commitment to fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement.
NOCN’s Managing Director Graham Hasting-Evans presented two awards as part of the event, ‘Construction Company of the Year’ and ‘Financial Services Company of the Year’ awards, which were awarded to Interserve Construction and Yorkshire Business Society. NOCN works closely with both sectors providing apprenticeships and qualifications support.
Bradley Wytak, HR Officer at NOCN commented on the evening event: “It’s really important that NOCN continue to be leaders in diversity as education is a huge factor when it comes to inclusivity. As the UK’s largest Awarding Organisation we strive to make all education routes inclusive to all learners. It’s fantastic to see such an inspiring group of people come together for a common cause”
Chair of Governors at Leeds City College Dr Shaid Mahmood shared inspirational stories of learners who have gone on to achieve great successes which brought to life the importance and impact of NOCN’s ethos and purpose.
