Financial Literacy

NOCN’s qualifications in Financial Literacy are designed to develop learners’ personal finance knowledge by facilitating learning in practical situations that motivate learners

A basic understanding of how financial responsibility informs financial practices is a key element in these basic qualifications. It enables learners to consider how they can begin to make informed decisions based on their personal circumstances and appreciate how other people may make different decisions based on their personal circumstances and their priorities.

The qualifications may also be used alongside literacy and/or numeracy provision in Skills for Life Programmes.
