Getting on at Work

Asset Skills have incorporated the NOCN Entry Level Certificate in Getting on at Work (Entry 3) (QCF) and the NOCN Level 1 Certificate in Getting on at Work (QCF) as part of a new framework, the Public Service Skills Framework and 'Getting on at Work' initiative, which aims to improve the quality of customer service by expanding the skills, learning opportunities and job satisfaction of public sector employees. The 'Getting on at Work' qualifications aim to meet the needs of learners in the Public Sector who need additional support, with literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) skills, or defined progression routes to access the new NOCN Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Supporting Public Services.

The qualifications are intended to support vulnerable learners facing job change or uncertainty in an uncertain economic climate by allowing them to develop skills for independent and effective learning, providing a strong platform for progression to other learning pathways and qualifications.
