Language Skills

NOCN's qualifications in Language Skills aim to provide stepped opportunities for accrediting language skills and consist of units that are designed to allow them to be tailored to individual learner and workforce needs.

The units in of each qualification are skills based and allow learners to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and the qualifications themselves have been developed in close consultation with the National Centre for Languages (CILT), and are mapped to the National Language Standards (revised) 2005.
