NOCN will be attending this two day exhibition event in June 2012
The NOCN suite of qualifications in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities has been developed in partnership with Skills for Care and Development and supports government strategies to increase knowledge and understanding of how to support individuals with learning disabilities. The qualifications have also been developed to meet the changing needs of the sector by offering greater flexibility to support employers in relation to the development of their personnel.
The qualifications are appropriate for:
· Those employees who do not class themselves as part of the social care workforce but who come into contact with people with learning disabilities as part of their job roles.
· Equipping those working in and preparing to enter the sector whose main job is to support children and young people who have a learning disability in England.
· Continuing Professional Development in the workplace.
