Tackling Substance Misuse

The NOCN Level 3 Certificate on Substance Misues (QCF) has been designed for adult practitioners working in the drug and alcohol sector and those aspiring to do so.

Achievement of the qualification will contribute to the professional development needs of a range of workers engaged in this sector including:

  • Specialist drug and alcohol workers, and those aiming for such a role
  • Generic workers who have a substance misuse function within their portfolio of responsibilities, and those working towards such a role
  • Generic workers who have occasional substance misuse functions and those working towards such a role.

The qualification is recognised within the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) Drug and Alcohol Professional Certification scheme.
