Role Requirements and How to apply

To be considered, it is desirable that our End Point Assessors have the following:

  • Hold or are willing to work towards an independent assessor qualification (e.g. A1/TAQA/PGCE/CertED or equivalent)
  • A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the sector and the areas being assessed
  • Recent experience of your chosen occupational route which demonstrates industry competence
  • Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills as well as good IT skills and competency working with online reports
  • Ongoing maintenance of your own CPD

Time commitment

It is difficult to make an accurate assessment of time commitments until we know more precisely the number of apprentices that will be requiring End Point Assessments. However, we are asking EPA Assessors to commit to a minimum of around 35 days per annum, if possible which will include attendance at standardisation events.

The contracted rate of pay

Please note, these are freelance contracted positions. The rate of pay will vary according to the nature of specific contracts, for example, based upon the number of standards, sectors and levels.

How to apply

In order to apply, please email eparecruitment@nocn.org.uk with a copy of your CV and stating which sector you are applying for.
