Compliance and Policy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Compliance and Policy Manager to ensure NOCN’s policies, processes and procedures are fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist the Head of Assurance, to provide, the necessary leadership, specialist expertise and to implement the strategic direction to ensure NOCN’s policies, processes and procedures are fully compliant and quality assured for the UK and internationally
• To provide an internal quality assurance function to ensure that the wider functions of NOCN remain compliant with the relevant requirements set by the Regulatory Bodies
• To develop an Internal Quality Assurance Strategy and populate an IQA plan from that strategy
• Liaise with and engage the “Heads of” to schedule the implementation of the IQA plan
• Produce detailed reports suitable for presentation to the Head of Assurance on the IQA findings at NOCN
• To engage ‘Heads of’ regarding the annual statement of compliance process and co-ordinate the process within NOCN including training for staff where required
• Ensure all staff adhere to the monthly and annual reporting cycle deadlines

Key Requirements:

 

• D32/33 or similar, a L3 teaching qualification or above, qualified as an IQA/IV
• Experience in Internal Quality Assurer
• Knowledge and experience in writing Policies and Procedures
• Knowledge of various Regulatory Requirements, such as the General Conditions of Recognition
• Experience in effectively managing and leading a team
• Good analytical skills
• Positive leadership qualities
• Meticulous planning and organisation skills
• Excellent planning and administration skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Open and approachable personality
• Willingness to travel in the UK

Note: Flexibility to working hours and a Full UK Drivers License is essential
