Purpose and Objectives:

To provide sales support to the National EPA Account Manager. Identify new sales opportunities through research and referrals. Work closely with existing centres to support the upsell of new standards. Establish close cross-departmental team working, ensuring all sales enquiries are managed, tracked, and converted to achieve the EPA’s income expectations.

The postholder will be required to proactively engage with key internal and external stakeholders as required. Excellent customer service is of utmost importance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Through research and networking, identify new opportunities for EPA contracts.
  • Record and maintain a pipeline of medium/low-value sales opportunities.
  • Support the National EPA Account Manager to achieve the EPA income target.
  • Triage all inbound EPA leads referring to National EPA Account Manager where required.
  • Support the administration related to the processing of EPA contracts.
  • Support the National EPA Account Manager with activity related to sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Support account management of medium/low value existing agreed customer accounts.
  • Record and maintain the pipeline and forecast for weekly reporting.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers promptly.
  • Represent NOCN at networking events, exhibitions and conferences when required.
  • Maintain the EPA CRM system, customer contacts and correspondence.
  • Act as a point of contact for EPA customer queries and share relevant information with appropriate members of NOCN Group.
  • Work closely with internal teams to solve problems and respond to customer requests and questions.

Key Requirements, knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Educated to Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Competent IT user including all Microsoft Office products.
  • Sales or associated qualification (desirable).
