End Point Assessor - Floorlayer
NOCN is looking for Assessors/Moderators with experience in Floorlaying to support apprentices at gateway
Summary
NOCN is looking for experienced candidates to assess apprentices undertaking their final assessments on the Floorlayer Standard. The role will involve observing apprentices in their place of work to evaluate their skills against the criteria set out in the assessment plan.
Role Responsibilities:
• Undertaking the final assessment of an apprentice on the Steel Fixer Apprenticeship Standard to ensure they are fully competent for the role
• Definite travel to the apprentice’s place of work to carry out assessments
• Assess without prejudice or bias in a fair and honest way
• Work with internal quality systems that ensure consistency, fairness and reliability of performance and evidence collection
• Complete any paperwork relevant to the assessment in a timely manner by the deadline given
Role Requirements:
- Hold or Working towards assessing qualification
- Assessors will have a sufficient, verifiable, relevant floorlaying experience, knowledge and understanding, at or above the level being assessed
- CPD to reflect a minimum of 3 events relevant to installation of floorcovering
