Hannah is an experienced policy professional with a background in speech and language therapy. To date, her career has focused on improving participation in education and employment through working directly with young people and through policy reform. She has enjoyed the opportunity to work on both education and Government reform agendas. Hannah is particularly adept at working with stakeholders and developing strategies to engage with seldom-heard from groups to ensure policy is informed by those with lived experience.

During her time as a speech and language therapist, Hannah enjoyed working with young people in post-16 education. In 2020, she undertook a Master’s to research policy gaps in the delivery of specialist provision for this age group. In addition to working across education provision and policy in the UK, she has also enjoyed working overseas, delivering training to education professionals in both India and Indonesia.
