Supporting Skills for Craft Painter and Decorator

We’re also highlighting the Level 3 Craft Painter and Decorator qualification.

Craft painters and decorators are highly skilled professionals working across new builds, refurbishments and even historic buildings. Their expertise ensures both the appearance and protection of internal and external surfaces, from residential homes to large commercial projects. This role includes:

• Painting, spraying and wallpapering
• Decorative finishes and sign writing
• Careful preparation, including working safely with hazardous materials
• Technical leadership and supervising others
• Managing client relationships and collaborating with architects, designers and other trades

With opportunities across the UK and internationally, this Level 3 qualification is a natural progression for learners who have achieved Level 2 and are ready to advance their career.
