The event opened with an introduction to the Foundation and its Skills Innovation Grant Programme, outlining how we aim to support initiatives that address some of the most pressing challenges facing communities today.

We then explored two key themes:

• Green Skills: With sustainability at the forefront of global priorities, we discussed how equipping people with green skills is essential for building a future-ready workforce.
• NEETs (Young People Not in Education, Employment or Training): Tackling youth disengagement remains a critical issue. We examined the latest data and shared ideas on how targeted support can make a meaningful difference.

While we considered the role of technology in addressing these challenges, the focus remained on the first two themes to ensure depth and clarity in discussion.

The event featured a collaborative workshop in which attendees worked in groups to identify the most significant barriers in these areas. This session sparked thoughtful conversations and surfaced valuable insights that will help shape the Foundation's future direction.

We wrapped up with a feedback session, gathering reflections and suggestions from participants to ensure the Foundation's work remains responsive and impactful.
