Ofqual register and TQT
Posted 28 June 2016
Update from Product Development:
Ofqual Register
The Ofqual register has changed and now only shows limited information about qualifications and no Unit detail. Everything you need to know to deliver NOCN qualifications, including Unit content, is available on our website. It is now more important than ever that you check our website and the Qualification Specification before starting to deliver any of our qualifications for the first time.
Total Qualification Time
Ofqual now require Awarding Organisations to identify the total amount of time it takes an average learner to complete a qualification. This is known as the Total Qualification Time (TQT) and includes all supervised and non-supervised learning.
All new qualifications will have TQT identified and, by December 2017, NOCN has to identify the TQT for all existing qualifications.
To achieve this we will need your help. NOCN centres who have been delivering our qualifications are in the best position to provide accurate information on how long it takes their learners to complete qualifications. Over the next 12 months we will be contacting centres to collect information which will be used to set a TQT against qualifications.
We hope you will support us with this activity. If you have any related queries, do not hesitate to get in touch.
