We're Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026!

Next week, from the 9th to the 15th of February, we’re celebrating National Apprenticeship Week. This annual celebration is the perfect opportunity to recognise the incredible contributions apprentices make to our industries and communities.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing updates on our courses, partnerships, upcoming events, success stories from our apprentices and more! Whether you’re considering an apprenticeship, currently in training, or an employer looking to grow your team, there will be something for everyone.

NOCN Group works in partnership with colleges, employers and training providers to deliver high quality End Point Assessments that are flexible and supportive.

About National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship Week is a week-long celebration that brings together employers, apprentices and training providers from across the country to showcase the value of apprenticeships. It highlights the positive impact they have on individuals’ careers, business growth and the wider economy, while shining a spotlight on the skills and opportunities apprenticeships create for people of all ages.

Apprenticeships offer a unique pathway to career success, combining hands-on experience with structured learning. They provide earn-while-you-learn opportunities, allowing individuals to develop practical skills, gain industry-recognised qualifications and build professional networks - all without the burden of student debt.

Meet the Apprentice

Meet Mikey, a plastering apprentice at Barnsley College who is completing his end point assessment with NOCN Group. In the video below, he explains why he chose to be a plasterer, what he’s learned, what he’s proud of and his advice to anyone looking to start an apprenticeship.

Mikey’s journey demonstrates how apprenticeships can transform passion into profession. His story is just one of many we’ll be featuring throughout the week, showcasing the diverse range of opportunities available across different sectors and skill levels.
