Centres will be aware that the RCUK’s Resuscitation Guidelines 2021 were published in May. These revised Guidelines set out the best practice and clinical excellence in resuscitation to give people the best chance of a successful outcome from cardiac arrest. The Guidelines cover all age groups.

All healthcare organisations and individuals should plan to implement the changes into practice within 12 months of the publication date.

The First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum, of which NOCN is a member, will continue to review the first aid qualifications and we will notify centres of any amendments.
