The following Level 3 qualification in sector 5.2 Building and Construction is being withdrawn as from 30 April 2023:

• NOCN_Cskills Awards Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings (603/6072/0)

How could the withdrawal affect learners?
No learners will be disadvantaged as learners will have three more years after 30 April 2023, in which to achieve the qualification, also NOCN is offering a new replacement qualification. 

What is the last date for registrations?
The last date for registrations for the qualification listed will be 30 April 2023.

Will the existing qualifications be extended beyond the operational end date for registrations?
NO, NOCN will not be extending the operational end date for the withdrawn qualification after 30 April 2023, as there is a replacement qualification.

What is the last date for certifications?
The last date for certification for the withdrawn qualification will be 30 April 2026.

Are there replacement qualifications?
Yes, there is a replacement - NOCN Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings (610/1607/X) which commences 1 November 2022 and will run alongside the existing one which ends for registration 30 April 2023.
