From the 1st April 2026, NOCN will launch a new Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care [610/7069/5].

This qualification has been developed with Skills for Care to ensure the content is aligned to current occupational standards, with the addition of new optional units. Key updates include refreshed knowledge requirements and expanded optional unit choices to reflect current practice in adult social care.

NEW: NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care

Funding Information:

The new NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care [610/7069/5] has been approved for Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) funding from 1st April 2026. The reimbursement rates and process for claiming will be confirmed by Department of Health and Social Care.

The existing NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (England) (2022) [610/0088/7] will be withdrawn on 31st July 2026. LDSS funding for this existing qualification will cease on 31st March 2026. If Centres have any questions related to LDSS funding, they should contact the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) for further information.
