As part of the ongoing delivery of NOCN’s Skills England Approved Training Qualifications, the current assessment packs for the Construction Training qualifications have been updated from 28th February 2026 in the Hub.

This applies to the following qualifications:

• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Bricklaying (Diploma) (610/4613/9)
• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Carpenters and Joiners (Diploma) - Site Carpentry (610/4618/8)
• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Carpenters and Joiners (Diploma) – Architectural Joiner (610/4618/8)
• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Painting and Decorating (Diploma) (610/4616/4)
• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Plastering (Diploma) – Fibrous Plastering (610/4617/6)
• NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Plastering (Diploma) – Solid Plastering (610/4617/6)
• NOCN Level 3 Technical Occupational Entry for Craft Carpenters and Joiners (Diploma) – Architectural Joiner (610/3881/7)
• NOCN Level 3 Technical Occupational Entry for Craft Carpenters and Joiners (Diploma) – Site Carpentry (610/3881/7)
• NOCN Level 3 Diploma for Craft Bricklayers (610/3883/0)

Choice in assessments

For the Level 2 qualifications, there are now 2 options in assessment methodology for some units. Learners can either complete unit by unit assessments or synoptic assessments. The synoptic assessments cover the mandatory units only.
