As part of our commitment to provide qualifications in line with industry requirements we regularly review all qualifications across all occupations.

We have received a recent update from CITB Standards Setting Body (SSB), after they had consulted with the National Working Group (NWG) over the soon to be withdrawn Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Floorcovering Occupations (Construction) qualification.

Due to industry concerns, CITB Standards Setting Body (SSB) has informed us that the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Floorcovering Occupations (Construction) qualification – 601/4992/9 will now be extended for registration of learners for a further three months to the 31.07.2026.

Ofqual, Quartzweb, The NOCN website, and Horizon will be updated accordingly with the three months extension with immediate effect, whereby learners will be able to continue to register.
