Following a recent review of the NOCN Suite of Assessor Qualifications, we would like to inform centres of an update to the unit:

• Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding F/601/5319

During this review, we identified that Assessment Criterion 1.4 within Learning Outcome 1 had been included in error. This assessment criterion has now been removed from the unit.

In addition, NOCN has undertaken a full review of all units within the Assessor Qualifications suite to ensure overall accuracy and consistency. As part of this review, minor wording amendments have been made throughout the Scope of Training sections across a number of units. These amendments are intended to provide greater clarity and do not change the overall intent or standard of the qualifications.

These updates are now reflected within the updated Qualification Specification Version 7.1, specifically on page 6.

NOCN Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement

Centres are asked to ensure they are using the most up-to-date version of the qualification specification and associated materials moving forward.
