As part of our commitment to provide qualifications in line with industry requirements we regularly review and develop new qualifications across all occupations. We are pleased to announce that NOCN has developed the new qualification below:

NOCN Level 3 Award in Open Source Intelligence – 610/7695/8

This qualification is available to learners from the age of 16 as from 1st August 2026.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out open source intelligence (OSINT) activities effectively, ethically and legally. Learners will develop an understanding of the intelligence cycle, information collection techniques, analysis methods, and intelligence reporting practices used across a range of sectors.

Quartz web, Website and Horizon, will be updated accordingly with the new Qualification
