As part of our commitment to provide qualifications in line with industry requirements we regularly review and develop new qualifications across all occupations.
The NOCN group has developed the following new qualifications:
NOCN Level 4 Award in Human Resources Management - 610/7787/2
NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Human Resources Management - 610/7790/2
These qualifications are now available for Centres to register their learners.
The purpose of the NOCN Level 4 Award and Certificate in Human Resources Management is to equip learners with the essential knowledge and applied skills needed to understand and support key human resources practices in an organisational setting.
The Level 4 Award has a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 80 hours, including 60 Guided Learning Hours (GLH), this qualification offers a focused introduction to key human resources principles and workplace practice.
To achieve the NOCN Level 4 Award in Human Resources Management, learners must achieve all mandatory units listed for the qualification, totalling 8 credits.
The additional unit is available to support broader learning and development, but it is not required for achievement of the qualification.

The NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Human Resources Management helps learners develop broader knowledge and applied skills for working in human resources roles across a range of organisational settings.
With a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 200 hours, including 140 Guided Learning Hours (GLH), this qualification offers a structured approach to understanding key human resources practice, applying workplace principles, and identifying areas for further development.
To achieve the NOCN Level 4 Certificate in Human Resources Management, learners must achieve all mandatory units listed for the qualification, totalling 20 credits.
The additional unit is available to support broader learning and development, but it is not required for achievement of the qualification.
