The college plays a vital role in addressing skills gaps within the local area. One way that they achieve this is through their Apprenticeship programmes, which have been designed with the growth of the region in mind. The flexibility of their programmes means that they can be tailored to support individual business needs and objectives whilst ensuring the apprentice receives high quality training aligned to the Apprenticeship Standard.

NOCN has been working with The Sheffield College since 2017 and now provides End Point Assessment for many of their Construction and Engineering Apprenticeship Standards.
