In 2019, NOCN attended the Skills & Employability Summit to launch our latest report ‘Close the Gap’. The Summit should have been taking place at the QE2 Exhibition Centre, London. However, it will now be a digital summit (held online).
The summit will cover Skills Funding, Lifelong Learning, Education-Employer Collaboration, Workplace Upskilling, the Universal Skills Framework and Disadvantaged Workers.
Our Managing Director, Graham Hasting-Evans will be holding a seminar, 'Pathways into Employment in a Covid World', on the 7th October 10:30-11.10am.
Graham Hastin-Evans will also be a part of the Panel Discussion Session – Digital Inclusion: Strategy for Growth. The panel will address the following:
- The underlying barriers to digital skills training and embedding digital skills across training and learning provision
- Increasing digital adoption and creating a strong digital talent pipeline to support economic recovery
- Developing a collaborative and cohesive digital strategy across government, voluntary and private sector
