Coronavirus update for customers

NOCN Group offers a wide range of services including regulated qualifications, EPA for apprenticeships, Job Cards in construction, Access to HE Diplomas, bespoke accreditation, and educational and skills support training.

As you will be aware the government imposed a third national lockdown from Tuesday 5th January 2021. You will find out more operational detail on the implications for each of these services through the following links:

Update 29th March 2021

On 24th March, Ofqual published the VTQ Contingency Regulatory Framework (VCRF) which allows NOCN to provide centres with awarding arrangements for learners who have had their training and assessment disrupted in 2021. NOCN Ofqual Regulated qualifications

NOCN regulated qualifications are recognised by Ofqual and NOCN operates under licence as an Awarding Organisation as specified and regulated by Ofqual in the UK.

NOCN’s Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation Recognition Number: RN5194.

The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England and Northern Ireland. Ofqual's role is to maintain standards and confidence in qualifications.

It regulates exams, qualifications and tests in England. Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland are regulated by each respective national government. However, the Scottish Qualifications Authority SQA is also accredited by Ofqual.

AELS NOCN Recognition in Italy

We are very pleased to announce that the collaboration between AELS and NOCN in Italy to offer ESOL International English Language examinations has now been recognised by the Ministry of Education – Ministry of Universities and Research. AELS NOCN are now listed on the MIUR website as a Foreign Language Certification Body in Italy.
