Supporting FE colleges to make learning better
Posted 19 November 2018
As a progressive educational charity, which has been supporting FE colleges for over 30 years, NOCN is proud to be supporting the Association of Colleges (AoC) at their upcoming conference.
This year’s event aims to shine a spotlight on how colleges are the engines of economic success, social prosperity and personal wellbeing in their local communities, and nationally.
The UK is trailing behind other G7 countries with a productivity gap of around 30% and with Brexit on the horizon, the work that our FE colleges are doing to bridge the skills gap through vocational training and Apprenticeships has never been more important.
NOCN is at the forefront of vocational skills development and apprenticeships and is ready to support FE colleges in the delivery of T Levels in the UK. NOCN is a market leading apprentice End Point Assessment Organisation, providing independent EPA in sectors including Finance, retail, construction and social care.
We are the only awarding organisation in the UK, which specialises in productivity and is focussed on increasing the UK’s competitiveness globally. That is why we have developed a suite of qualifications specifically focussed on productivity management and improvement.
As the second largest awarding organisation in the UK construction sector, we are committed to working for a better future for UK construction skills, via our sub-brand Cskills Awards. The NOCN family now includes One Awards; enabling the provision of Access to HE qualifications alongside the full range of NOCN products.
