NOCN Approved as Financial Services Apprentice Assessment Organisation
Posted 23 May 2016
NOCN has been approved as an Apprentice Assessment Organisation (AAO) for two trailblazer standards in Financial Services:
- Financial Services Customer Adviser - Level 2
- Senior Financial Services Customer Adviser - Level 3
This is a great result for NOCN which has strengthened its expertise in apprentice assessments to match its range of vocational skills qualifications in financial services. This makes NOCN a market leader in financial services apprenticeship assessments.
NOCN already offers a SASE apprenticeship in financial services, developed and delivered in partnership with the CSA and as an Awarding Organisation, NOCN offers a wide range of accredited qualifications, including several in Accounting and Finance from Level 2 to level 5. Alongside these products, this new AAO approval is a clear endorsement of NOCN’s capability in the financial sector.
NOCN Managing Director Graham Hasting-Evans said:
“I am thrilled that we have been successful again as an AAO for the reformed trailblazer apprenticeships. We’ve already achieved this for the Property Maintenance Operative standard and now that we’ve got these two Financial Services Customer Adviser standards, we are showing our versatility and capability to deliver assessments across a range of industries and job roles”
Assessment organisations are registered against specific apprenticeship standards. To be successful they need to apply to the SFA for each standard they want to assess. NOCN has now been successful in two cases and expects further success as the reformed apprenticeship programme expands.
The organisation has been added to the Register of Apprentice Assessment Organisations (RAAO) for these standards alongside its AAO status for the Property Maintenance Operative. It anticipates further appointments as an AAO.
