FE Week: Rule change could price assessors out of running exams
Posted 24 February 2017
FE Week has published an article today on Apprenticeship End-Point Assessment (EPA) charges and the Skils Funding Agency's (SFA) new rule announced a week ago, which could price assessors out of running exams.
NOCN managing director Graham Hasting-Evans is quoted in the article as saying that awarding organisations need control of the exam charges and stressed that apprenticeships exam costs are "driven by the employer group's specification for testing as set out in the assessment plan, and have nothing at all to do with the training costs."
