GlobalCert Becomes Charitable Member of NOCN Group

Celebrating a Decade of Partnership Supporting English Learning Across Greece

NOCN Group is proud to announce that GlobalCert has become a charitable member, further strengthening a successful partnership that has spanned more than a decade. This new development formalises a longstanding relationship built on shared values and a commitment to improving lives through education and skills development.

Since 2013, GlobalCert and NOCN Group have worked together to deliver high-quality English language qualifications through the ESOL International exam series in Greece. These exams provide learners with the opportunity to gain an internationally recognised English qualification alongside their mainstream education, helping them build essential skills for future academic and career success.

Becoming a charitable member of NOCN Group means joining a network of organisations that actively contribute to the Group’s mission of creating opportunities through learning and skills. GlobalCert will be able to offer deep knowledge and insight to inform and shape future initiatives both in the UK and internationally.

Earlier this year, NOCN Group Chief Executive Graham Hasting-Evans visited Greece to support the exam process and meet with local partners. His visit highlighted the scale of operations and the collaborative spirit that drives success.

He shared the following:

“GlobalCert becoming a charitable member of NOCN Group is a natural progression of a partnership built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to learner success. Their deep expertise in international ESOL assessment and delivery will bring valuable insight to our strategic conversations, helping us shape future skills and learning initiatives that benefit learners not just in Greece, but globally.”

NOCN Group’s activities in Greece are made possible by GlobalCert’s strong reputation for reliability and international recognition. Our ESOL International qualifications are also recognised by ASEP, the Greek Supreme Council of Personnel Selection, adding further value and credibility for learners.

In addition to delivering exams across Greece, the partnership extends internationally, with ongoing collaboration with Greek technology developers to provide innovative online solutions for skills delivery and testing.

Last year, thousands of learners across Greece registered to take the NOCN ESOL International exams. These students, who attend private language schools, show remarkable dedication to improving their English proficiency, often in addition to their regular school studies.

To support this large cohort, a highly experienced team of markers worked had to ensure all exam papers were assessed ahead of the results release back in July. The exam cycle involves extensive planning, coordination, and logistics across both organisations, and is a testament to the strength and efficiency of the partnership.
