NOCN approved for new apprentice assessments

Leading Awarding Organisation NOCN is now also a leading Apprentice Assessment Organisation, authorised to deliver end-point assessments for 14 new standards in seven key sectors, catapulting NOCN to third in the national AAO league table alongside major international educational brands.

NOCN is now approved to deliver end-point assessments in the following sectors:

  • Public services
  • Facilities Management
  • Financial services
  • Engineering

“Our focus is on quality and flexibility in order to provide the proper end-point assessments of apprentices that employers require. We are looking forward to working in partnership with employers and apprentice training providers to deliver our assessment services.”

Said Jane Jones, Deputy Managing Director.

NOCN has been involved in apprenticeships since the start of the programme and currently has a range of SASE apprenticeship frameworks being delivered by colleges and training providers across the country. With these new AAO appointments, NOCN moves from frameworks to standards and into end-point assessments, offering a full range of apprenticeship services to employers.

Jane continues:

“We have already been approached by employers for a number of our standards to provide end-point assessments for their apprentices. The feedback we’re getting is that NOCN is regarded as an expert in apprenticeships and employers want to work with us because of our friendly and flexible service.”

  • Public Service Operational Delivery Officer - Level 3
  • Property Maintenance Operative - Level 2
  • Financial Services Customer Advisor - Level 2

“I encourage employers who think they will need to work with an assessment organisation for their apprentices on these standards to get in touch. Our team can offer impartial advice and guidance to help you make the most of your apprentice training accounts once the Levy is introduced next year.”
