NOCN approved for two new construction EPA

NOCN announces Government approval to deliver end point assessment for two more apprenticeship standards in construction for carpentry and joinery at Levels 2 and 3.

NOCN is pleased to announce two new apprenticeship end-point assessment (EPA) approvals in construction, bringing its total EPA approvals to 46, one of the highest in the sector.

The new Standards are:

The Level 2 is for people using timber products to create and install building components and the Level 3 specifies additional responsibility for someone managing their own and other people’s work, as well as being required to complete complex and non-standard work.

NOCN has been at the forefront of the EPA market from the outset and is delivering apprentice assessments for customers in many other sectors, including Financial Services, Retail and the Public Sector.

NOCN is also a leading Awarding Organisation with an extensive range of qualifications available for training providers. Through its Construction arm, Cskills Awards, NOCN offers the widest range of construction skills qualifications available, including heritage, traditional and modern and recently introducing heating and plumbing with BPEC

With its EPA and qualifications offer, NOCN is able to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for the construction sector, including the qualifications specified in these two Standards:

NOCN Head of Construction Mark Buckton said:

“I am really pleased that we can now offer these bigger and better services to our construction customers. From qualifications to apprentice assessment, NOCN and Cskills Awards is leading the way in the sector to ensure such high quality skills and apprenticeships are available to meet the demands of construction, house building and large infrastructure projects.”
