NOCN Group and ISM have partnered to work in Pakistan’s Skills Development and Education Sector to support the important stakeholders, including TVET institutions, industry and regulators by offering NOCN’s internationally recognized qualifications.
NOCN group is an education and skills charity, set up in 1987 to create opportunities through learning and skills development. It is a major UK and international awarding organization (AO) and provides over 500 regulated qualifications. NOCN is recognized by the UK Qualifications Regulator, Ofqual and other regulatory bodies.
The Group is trusted and recognized by employers, training providers and learners in the UK and internationally for providing a high quality, flexible service and believes passionately in the power of education and its impact on communities and individuals.
ISM is helping people, companies and nations build skills for prosperity with its partners from the aligned backgrounds of TVET, General Education, Impact Investment and Commercial Service Delivery. ISM Pakistan’s office based in Lahore provides access to international TVET expertise. It has experience in capacity building, gaining international recognition for qualifications and an understanding of international job market standards.
ISM is operating as a representative and quality assurance service provider for NOCN Group in Pakistan.
This partnership has enabled both organisations to work together, focusing Pakistan’s Higher Education and Vocational Training Centres with the aim of improving the quality of local TVET provision and the quality and recognition of locally created programmes of study. By engaging with stakeholders in Government Bodies, Universities, and training institutions, both organisations will support local training centres to deliver NOCN (UK) regulated qualifications and/or obtain NOCN Group Endorsement Services.
Thanks go to the International Education Team in the Department for International Trade for their support and their ongoing commitment to developing great international opportunities for UK Education sector.
