New and updated subject areas available

Centres can now access updated units and optional bespoke unit groupings across the following areas:

• Animal Care
• Horticulture
• Health and Social Care
• Catering
• Business and Administration
• Employability
• Digital (Level 2 units, with progression from Entry Level 3)

These curated groupings are designed to support centres by highlighting relevant unit combinations for specific learner and employment contexts. They do not introduce new qualifications, and no existing units are being withdrawn.

Flexible delivery for a wide range of learners

SETPD is designed to be inclusive and adaptable, supporting delivery across colleges, training providers, local authority programmes and community settings. The qualifications are particularly suitable for learners with SEND, those who are NEET, adult returners to education and individuals preparing for employment or apprenticeships.

Using consistent subject groupings across levels, the suite supports clear progression routes, mixed-level delivery where appropriate and simpler curriculum planning.
