NOCN Group joins industry leaders exhibiting at UK Construction Week 2019

UK Construction Week takes place on 8-10 October at NEC Birmingham

Free for visitors to attend it is the largest event dedicated to knowledge sharing, best practice, problem solving and product sourcing, providing a hub for the industry to come together to discuss and develop ways in which we can build our future.

Shining a spotlight on innovation in construction and ways in which we can improve productivity and sustainability, the event is the ideal place for businesses and professionals in the sector to come together and network, promoting innovation, projects and learning.

As the Construction sector’s largest Awarding and Assessment Organisation in the UK and internationally, NOCN Group is looking forward to exhibiting at the event to provide information for delegates about Construction qualifications, apprenticeships and end point assessment along with information about Cskills Awards and recent changes in the Construction Plant Competency Scheme, recently purchased from CITB.

NOCN Group is focussed on building productivity in the UK by upskilling the construction and manufacturing sectors with the Construction team having recently attended, and sponsored the UK Delegation to, the WorldSkills competition in Kazan as part of the ‘Seeing is Believing’ programme. The purpose of the initiative was to gain insights into world leading skills innovations and developments which could be brought back to improve productivity in the UK, which is a key theme of the UK Construction Week event.

Welcoming 650+ exhibitors, 35,000 visitors, over 300 expert speakers in the line-up, the event consists of multiple sections for delegates to immerse themselves in including build, building tech, civils, energy & HVAC, surface & materials and timber running from 8-10 October and newly launched Concrete Expo and Grand Designs Live.
