NOCN Group proud to support Women in Construction events

NOCN Group, the second largest Awarding & Assessment Organisations in the UK construction sector, is proud to be supporting the Women in Construction Awards as sponsor of the Inclusive Company category.

The skills charity is taking a table of 10 at the Awards on 26 September 2024, hosting key stakeholders, and has supplied a video to be shown at the ceremony busting myths around construction skills.

Prior to the ceremony, representatives from the NOCN Group team will be attending a pre-event talk with Lord Hammond looking ahead at the impact of Labour's first Budget on the construction industry.

Following the Women in Construction Awards, NOCN Group/Job Cards Trustee Alison Duckles will also be taking part in a panel session as part of UK Construction Week (1-3 October 2024) which will discuss the importance of female representation in the industry.

NOCN Group chief executive Graham Hasting-Evans says:

“Improving diversity & inclusion in the construction industry is not just a ‘nice to have’; it is critical economically, politically, commercially and socially. We desperately need a highly skilled workforce that is fit for the future and breaking down gender barriers is a key part of this.”
