NOCN Group retains Investors in People Gold accreditation
Posted 25 February 2025
International skills charity NOCN Group has retained its Investors in People (IIP) Gold accreditation following its latest ‘we invest in people’ assessment.
Only 28% of organisations taking part in the IIP process achieve Gold accreditation, demonstrating that every single person from the CEO to apprentices are involved in implementing policies that ‘make work better’.
NOCN Group was awarded IIP Gold status in 2022 after previously gaining Silver in 2019 and 2016. Its new IIP Gold accreditation will last for three years from 2025 to 2028.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, says:
“We believe that the success of your organisation begins and ends with people. If we make work better for everyone, we make work better for every organisation. And if we do that, we make society stronger, healthier and happier.
“We’d like to congratulate NOCN Group. Gold accreditation on ‘We invest in people’ is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places NOCN Group in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
NOCN Group chief exec Graham Hasting-Evans, adds:
“As a truly independent, charitable organisation whose purpose is to enable people to reach their potential and organisations to thrive through the advancement of skills, it’s important that we ‘practice what we preach’. Investing in our own people and creating a vibrant culture is key to this, and our IIP Gold status is testament to the fact that we are succeeding in our mission.”
