Leading educational charity NOCN has announced it has been formally approved to be the first End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for the Level 3 Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist Apprenticeship Standard.

NOCN, specialists in End Point Assessment across numerous sectors worked with leading hair, beauty, wellness, and aesthetics Awarding Organisation Qualifi to develop the Level 3 Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist End Point Assessment.

The standard has been developed as the hair and beauty sector has seen demand continue to rise for lifestyle wellness, including para-medical, healthcare environments and businesses implementing wellbeing corporate responsibility. Successful apprentices will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to create, implement, and adapt tailored holistic and wellbeing experiences.

NOCN Group Director for Apprenticeships, Thomas Burton:

“NOCN has been a leader in the Apprenticeship End Point Assessment market from the outset, often being the first EPAO to deliver assessments in a wide range of sectors from Construction and Engineering to Finance and Healthcare. When we were approached by Qualifi about becoming the EPAO for the Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist Standard, we were delighted to work with hair and beauty sector-specific Awarding Organisation on a standard in an area which further grows our already diverse portfolio and aligns with our agenda for social mobility and career progression”.

Qualifi Ltd Director Hair, Beauty, Wellness and Aesthetics, Runa McNamara:

“Qualifi an Ofqual approved Awarding Organisation for 20 years is currently best known for specialising in academic qualifications leading to degree progression. However, with the growing demand for consistent and credible qualifications in Hair, Beauty, Wellness and Aesthetics, we appointed a team of experienced industry experts to support development in these sectors. The Trailblazer group approached Qualifi looking for an EPAO for the Wellbeing and Holistic Therapist standard and we are delighted to be working with NOCN to provide the EPA services required for this apprenticeship"
