NOCN sponsoring South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Champion Award

Sheffield-based top-two Government-approved Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation (AAO) NOCN is sponsoring the Apprenticeship Champion category of the North Midlands and South Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2017.

These awards celebrate and recognise the hardworking individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships and how they shape our future.

The Apprenticeship Champion category, sponsored by NOCN, is open to past apprentices that have made exceptional achievements since completing their apprenticeship. NOCN MD Graham Hasting-Evans said:

“As an approved End Point Assessment provider for new apprenticeship standards, successful completion of apprenticeships and increased employability/career progression/social mobility is a cause very close to our hearts. We call it ‘Making Apprenticeships Matter’.”

“We have been creating opportunities for 30 years as an awarding organisation and being an educational charity means that we understand both the commercial and social aspects of vocational training and apprenticeships. We’re therefore happy to support an award that recognises the impact apprenticeships can have on individuals and organisations over the long term and look forward to finding out more about the winning entry.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 16 May 2017 at Showroom Workstation in Sheffield. Other categories include small/medium/large employer of the year, training provider of the year and mentor of the year.
