NOCN Sponsors Apprenticeship Conference
Posted 28 January 2016
NOCN is proud to once again be a main sponsor for the Annual Apprentice Conference - AAC16. It sponsored the FE Week-run event last year and decided it was so good that it would do it all over again this year.
The conference provides NOCN with the opportunity to directly engage with the main leaders and providers in the apprenticeship sector and to present its extensive apprenticeship offer to new customers.
This year NOCN is going bigger and better. It wants to create a buzz and get people talking about Trailblazers, the employer levy, apprenticeship quality and all the other hot topics dominating our thoughts. We all know the future of vocational skills is apprenticeships but the final shape of this is still being determined.
NOCN is an apprenticeship leader with 30 Apprenticeship frameworks available for jobs in business, construction and healthcare to name a few. It is also actively involved in the development of Trailblazer apprenticeships and is one of the few new Apprenticeship Assessment Organisations (AAO), delivering the Property Maintenance Operative standard, as well as supporting the development of over 20 other new standards.
NOCN Managing Director Graham Hasting-Evans will be running two workshops at AAC16, drawing on his extensive experience at the helm of NOCN. These two workshops will be on Trailblazer quality and assessment, as follows:
- March 16, 2016 Governance and control of Trailblazers to ensure quality outcomes, 3:20 pm - 4:10 pm, Hall 10b
- March 17, 2016, Formative and end-point assessment in property maintenance, 3:15 pm - 4:05pm, Hall 10b
The NOCN stand is number CS1 and there will be fun and entertaining activities available throughout the conference, as well as leading experts to chat with about apprenticeships and the wider skills sector. Make sure you book onto AAC16 to be part of the big conversation and don’t forget to sign up to Graham’s workshops.
