NOCN wins fifth apprentice assessment
Posted 10 November 2016
We are pleased to announce that NOCN has been appointed as an apprentice assessment organisation (AAO) to deliver end point assessments (EPA) for another reformed standard, taking the number of EPA appointments to five.
The new standard is:
Engineering Design and Draughtsperson - Level 3
NOCN has a number more pending approval by the Government, as it pushes ahead with its programme of reforms, central to which is the Register of Apprentice Assessment Organisations (RoAAO).
Each new standard has to have an AAO in place ready for apprentices to be assessed at the end of their training. The AAO is contracted directly by the employer and will work together with the registered apprentice training provider to ensure each apprentice receives the best service as part of their apprenticeship experience.
"I am very proud of our team who have worked hard to win this appointment. Key to the success of this programme is quality and NOCN has clearly demonstrated excellence with the high standards it brings to the apprentice end point assessment process"
- Graham Hasting-Evans, MD, NOCN
