Third apprentice assessment plan approved for NOCN
Posted 15 June 2016
NOCN now has three apprentice assessment plans approved by the SFA for the reformed apprenticeships, putting it in the top category of AOs who are new AAOs ready to deliver end point assessments.
The standards for which the organisation can now provide assessments are as follows:
- Property Maintenance Operative
- Financial Services Customer Adviser
- Public Service Operational Delivery Officer
"This is great news, putting NOCN ahead of the curve and ready to support learning providers, colleges, businesses and of course apprentices. The message is clear that apprenticeships work with NOCN - we have 35 apprenticeship frameworks, 49 Trailblazers in development and a more assessment plans in the pipeline on top of the three we've got now."
- said Graham, NOCN, MD.
Becoming an AAO in a third industry is significant for NOCN, which is now approved for construction, finance and the public sector. This demonstrates the organisation's expanding range of expertise and competence and as the FE sector moves more towards reformed apprenticeships and away from traditional vocational qualifications, it demonstrates NOCN's flexibility, responsiveness and ability to stay competitive in a dynamic market.
