An Operations or Departmental Manager oversees teams and projects to achieve operational goals aligned with an organisation's strategy. They are accountable to senior leaders and work across sectors and organisations of all sizes. Responsibilities include delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading teams, handling change, overseeing finances and resources, and fostering talent through coaching and mentoring. Roles can include Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Department Manager, or Specialist Manager.
