Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in supporting learners across all age groups in primary, secondary, special schools, alternative provisions, and further education institutions. Working under the direction of qualified teachers, they deliver individual and small group teaching, support learners with diverse needs—including SEND and EAL—and promote positive learning behaviors.

Teaching Assistants collaborate with teachers, other professionals, and parents to enhance learners’ progress, ensure a safe learning environment, and contribute to their academic, social, and emotional development.
