Engineering fitters are essential in producing complex, high-value, low-volume components or assemblies, either fully or partially, using specialised machines, equipment, or systems. These components include turbines, cranes, gearboxes, production lines, rigs, and platforms. Fitters may specialize in mechanical, electrical, electronic, control systems, pipe fitting, or instrumentation.

This version of the Engineering Fitter apprenticeship standard has been ended by IfATE but we are still taking contracts on this version. If you have any apprentices that are on this version then please contact us as we can still accommodate your apprentices.
