The Machining Technician falls within the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) sector. AME includes Aerospace, Automotive, Maritime Defence, Nuclear and Construction sectors. Machining technicians produce complex and precision machined products that are typically used in machinery.

We already offer EPA Services for versions 1.4 and 1.5 and were not intending to offer this earlier version but due to demand this has now gone into our scope for development.

This version of the Machining Technician apprenticeship standard has been ended by IfATE but we are still taking contracts on this version. If you have any apprentices that are on this version then please contact us as we can still accommodate your apprentices.
