Apprentices on the Engineering and Manufacturing Foundation Apprenticeship can be found in a variety of operative roles within the industry, such as automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing supporting production, maintenance and assembly of components, amongst other tasks. Apprentices who complete this foundation apprenticeship can continue on to complete a higher level apprenticeship in a more specialised role.
