Awareness of Renewable Technologies
This short course is aimed at learners seeking to understand today's environmental challenges and will examine the impact of fossil fuels on global warming and discuss the urgent need for climate action.
Learners will learn about strategies to achieve net zero emissions and explore practical steps for a more sustainable future.
Course Content:
The three modules are undertaken by learners either in centre, or at their own pace, following an interactive e-learning presentation. The course is entirely theory based, and will engage with interactive content, including written explanations, interactive information, and knowledge checks to reinforce understanding. The Presentation can be found within NOCN’s online platform.
- Session 1: Fossil Fuels
- Session 2: Global Warming
- Session 3: Climate Action to Attain Net Zero
Course Structure:
- Course Length: 1 day or approximately 8 hours
- Minimum Age: 16+
- Assessment: Sessions 1,2,3 contain retrieval questions at the end or start of each session, with a 30 question Multiple Choice Quiz taken at the end of the course taking 45 minutes. This is auto marked by the online platform.
